Oil

This is a realistic, painted take on this drawing that I doodled in class one day: [link]

I have a slew of new paintings, but I've been extremely lazy on putting them up. They're months old now but they're all the best stuff I've ever done.

eventually.... I think.

**Note to self: Never ever paint a light gray hoodie ever again, ever.**

I don't like your tragic sighs
as if your god has passed you by well hey fool
that's your deception
your angels speak with jilted tongues
the serpent's tale has come undone you have no
strength to squander
The only comfort is the moving of the river

Not really my style, but it's very impressive and you can tell how much effort and time you put into it. Keep at it, I can only imagine what you can paint next.

This picture has been featured in my journal!

It took me a while to realize that this was actually a painting. It's not just the subject that is perfect, the background with the shadows and highlights are amazing too. And as for the hoodie, even if it doesn't look like the actual fabric (I know what you mean, and I'm impressed that you decided to take on such a challenge)the hues you used in it make it look more interesting than it would have anyways.
Amazing job, just wow.

This staying alive can kill you, it's taking years off of my life.

this is very realistic but i love the touch of your own twist to it, something that makes this painting unique and your own. the kind of painting that they'll say, "yeah this is your painting." =)
